The Trust Accountant is responsible for overseeing trust accounts and ensuring that all accounting processes are completed in accordance with statutory requirements.  This role is fundamentally sole charge, but you will be working closely with the Practice Manager while also providing your services and skillset to the wider team.

If you’re an experienced Trust Accountant already, that would be amazing, but if you’re not don’t be shy if you have a strong mix of the following skills:

  • Experience using different accounting and client relationship management systems and you are a whizz with Excel and proficient with Word
  • Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines from time to time
  • Accurate data entry, processing and strong reconciliation skills – attention to detail is at the core of what you do and who you are
  • An Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable expert with exposure beyond pure AR/AP
  • Highly organised, a good communicator and able to take responsibility for your work
  • Qualified by Degree or Qualified by Experience – both will be considered
